David Allen – The Power of I AM – Part 16

David Allen - The Power of I AM

At the spoken word of Jesus the invisible became visible . . the unseen, unsuspected substance, which like the wind “listeth where it bloweth,” condensed into visible manifestation. The WORD is the condenser . . when this word is Spoken from the consciousness that “I AM That I AM” . . that particular I AM or Temple . . or Manifestation, should come into this particular situation and disintegrate the congested human thought which has made all sorts of evil pictures. It is not precipitation which is often referred to as a “top flight” indication of Secret Power. It is a natural releasing into a plane of physical sight and hearing, that which has always been.

We are ever that which is defined by our awareness. Never claim, “I shall be that”. Let all claims from now on be, “I AM That I AM”. Before we ask, we are answered. The solution of any problem associated with desire is obvious. Every problem automatically produces the desire of solution.

Though I heal ten thousand cases of diseases and cause them to disappear from the body, and though countless times, I change the mind from one idea to another, if I AM unaware that  I have thereby accomplished nothing I know not Truth. Though I transform thoughts into things and things into thoughts ten thousand times and know not that in doing this nothing has taken place in reality, I know not Truth. When my mind is placid like a crystal lake, my mind fulfills itself, reflects like a mirror the Intelligence which I AM.

The I AM in you is the Presence of God, Awareness, Pure Being, The Living Spirit, the Creator of all things visible and invisible. This is why every man is his own savior. Truth is saying to you to break away from all beliefs that instill fear into your mind

Man is schooled in the belief that his desires are things against which he must struggle. In his ignorance, he denies his savior who is constantly knocking at the door of consciousness to be let in (I AM the door). Would not your desire, if realized, save you from your problem? To let your savior in is the easiest thing in the world. Things must be, to be let in. You are conscious of a desire; the desire is something you are aware of now. Your desire, though invisible, must be affirmed by you to be something that is real. “God calleth those things which be not (are not seen) as though they were”. Claiming I AM the thing desired, I let the savior in.

Before Abraham or the world was . . I AM. When all of time shall cease to be . . I AM. I AM the formless awareness of being conceiving myself to be man. By my everlasting law of being I AM compelled to be and to express all that I believe myself to be.

I AM a spiritual and mental magnet attracting to myself all things, which bless and prosper me.

Your consciousness or your I AM is the unlimited potential upon which impressions are made. I’m-pressions are defined states pressed upon your I AM. Your consciousness or your I AM can be likened to a sensitive film. In the virgin state, it is potentially unlimited. You can impress or record a message of love or a hymn of hate, a wonderful symphony or discordant jazz. It does not matter what the nature of the impression might be; your I AM will, without a murmur, willingly receive and sustain all impressions.

Suffering from maladjustments and internal bodily trouble, the path of freedom lies within the recognition of this automatic, involuntary Power already there. The dropping of everything from thought and the entering into this recognition, will right the condition with the speed commensurate to your recognition . . and rising from a sick bed you will be able to say with authority “I AM Well” . . and mean it.

To enter the supreme life of the Christ is to gain the supreme power of the Christ; and to steadily grow in the consciousness of that life and power is to rise out of every tribulation until complete emancipation has been gained. That supreme life is in store for us; it already exists in the supreme “I AM” of our own being; this “I AM” is the Son of God, the only begotten of God, the Christ in us; and the Christ that is in each one of us is one with each one of us. That is how “I AM in the Father, and ye in me.”

But everyone can develop this state of conscious possession of his whole self by remaining firm in the conviction that “All that I AM is mine.” When you begin to feel that you possess yourself you actually have something in consciousness, and according to the laws of gain and possessions you will gain more and more without end. You are in the same consciousness with those who have, and to you will be given. You have established the inner cause of possession through the conscious possession of your entire inner life, and the effect of this cause, that is, the perpetual increase of external possession, must invariably follow. In brief, you have applied the great law “To Him That Hath Himself All Other Things Shall Be Given”.
